Option Settings

In the Option dialog, you can adjust detailed behavior related to monitoring, log display, and logging.

Option Setting Procedure​

1. Open the Option dialog
   Select Tool -> Option from the menu to open the Option dialog. You can also click the toolbar button.

2. Change option settings
   Change any settings in the Option dialog. Click OK to apply changes.

Option Dialog Screen Description​

Monitoring Option	Slave Mode(*1)	When synchronizing time between MicroPeckerX and MicroPecker, or synchronizing multiple MicroPeckerX units using two PCs, sets enable/disable of slave operation.	Default: Disabled Values: Enabled/Disabled
	Sync Wait	When Slave Mode is enabled, specifies the maximum wait time for synchronization signal in seconds.	Default: 10 sec Range: 1-60 sec
	Monitor Record Size	Sets the maximum number of frames retained/displayed by Monitor Window.	Default: 200 lines Range: 100-1000 lines
	Refresh Rate	Sets screen redraw interval (display update timing) for GUI application windows.	Default: 300 ms Range: 100-1000 ms
Log Option	Time Stamp Form(*2)	Sets timestamp format shown in logs.	Default: +HHH:MM:SS.mmm.uuu Selectable formats: +HHH:MM:SS.mmm.uuu +SSSSSSS.mmmuuu
	CAN/CAN-FD ID Form(*2)	Sets display format of CAN IDs.	Default: SID/EID Selectable formats: ALL ID: 29-bit continuous value SID/EID: standard ID (SID) and extended ID (EID) displayed separately
Logging Option	Divide Logging	Sets automatic split-save of log files.	Default: None Selectable options: None: no split FileSize: split by log file size in MB (1MB-4095MB) Record: split by log record count (100-2,500,000 lines) Time: split by elapsed time in seconds (1-3600 sec)
Chart Setting(*3)		Configures chart display settings.	-

*1: When monitoring is started on the time-sync master side, the Slave Mode side automatically starts monitoring.
Also, when the time-sync master stops monitoring, the Slave Mode side also stops automatically (with a timing error of several tens of milliseconds).
*2: The setting is also reflected in log files. If you load a log file saved with different settings, it is automatically adjusted to current settings.
*3: Chart Setting is under development and currently unavailable.
