Frame Interval Analysis

The Frame Analyze tab (available on the Ch Log view) measures the transmission interval of selected CAN IDs, reporting the maximum, minimum, and average values.

  • CAN Frame List: Displays the IDs selected for analysis (up to 64). Enable or disable each with its checkbox.
  • Frame Information: Enter the protocol (CAN or CAN FD), ID format (Std/Ext), and CAN ID, then click + to add it to the list.
  • Refresh / Delete: Update or remove the highlighted ID.
  • Frame Cycle Analyze: Run the analysis for all enabled IDs.
  • Clear: Remove all entries from the list.

Steps​

  1. Open the Frame Analyze tab in the Ch Log view.
  2. Enter the ID in Frame Information and register it with +.
  3. Click Frame Cycle Analyze. The Analyze Result dialog appears with the metrics.

The report shows:

  • Protocol, Format, and ID
  • Max (ms) and Max TimeStamp
  • Min (ms) and Min TimeStamp
  • Ave (ms)
  • Sample count

Use Save to export the results as CSV or double-click a timestamp to jump to that position in the Target Log.
