Is there an English PDF manual?
The PDF manual included with the product is available only in Japanese.
Can I use it on non-Japanese OS versions?
Non-Japanese OS versions are outside guaranteed operation.

How long is the warranty period?
The warranty is one year from purchase (initial defect replacement warranty).
Are there annual maintenance fees after purchase?
No annual maintenance fee is required after product purchase.

No specific installation limit is set.

Can I install the application software on multiple PCs?
Yes, as long as it is within the scope of the license agreement.
Where can I find software/firmware update information?
Update information is announced on the Sunny Giken product website.

How can I check device/software versions?
You can check the MicroPeckerX firmware version in the Device Version field under Support Information at the upper-right of the software About screen.
- The software main version is shown at the upper-left of the screen.
- Plugin versions are shown in Plugin List at the bottom.
You can also check software package versions (including plugins) from the Windows Start menu.

MicroPeckerX License

If I use this product on another PC, do I need to register the license again?
No. Re-registration is not required. License information is stored on the MicroPeckerX device, so once registered, you do not need to register again on another PC.
About application software licenses:
(1) Is there an expiration date?
(2) Are annual maintenance fees required?
(3) What is "License Start Date" at registration?
(1) Standard products such as analyzers use perpetual licenses without expiration. Some products such as plugins and trial licenses may use annual or limited-term licenses. Please contact Sunny Giken for details.
(2) For perpetual licenses, no annual maintenance or renewal fee is required.
(3) License Start Date means the license becomes valid from that entered date. If you want immediate use after registration, enter today's date.
Sunny License Manager closes immediately after startup. Event Viewer shows a .NET Runtime error (LicenseManager.exe, v4.0.30319, unhandled exception). What should I do?
This may occur when the MicroPeckerX USB driver is not installed. In Windows Settings -> Apps, check whether the following two items exist in the app list:
• Windows Driver Package - Sunny Giken Inc. CDM Driver Package - Bus/D2XX Driver
• Windows Driver Package - Sunny Giken Inc. CDM Driver Package - VCP Driver
If these do not exist, install the USB driver and check whether the issue is resolved.
