Only a Japanese manual is provided.
Can I use the product on non-Japanese versions of the OS?

How long is the warranty period?
The product includes a one-year warranty against initial defects.
Are there any annual maintenance fees after purchase?
No annual maintenance fees are required after purchase.

Application

Is there a limit to the number of application installations?
There is no specific limit on the number of installations.
Where can I download the latest application software?
You can download it from the Sunny Giken product website. An access key is required.
Can I install the application software on multiple PCs?
Yes. Installation on multiple PCs is allowed within the scope of the license agreement.
How can I check for application or firmware updates?
Updates are announced on the Sunny Giken product website or via notification emails.
How do I check the version of the hardware or software?

The firmware version of the MicroPeckerX hardware can be found in the application’s About screen under Support Information → Device Version.
・The upper left of the screen shows the control software version.
・The Plugin List at the bottom displays the version of each plugin.
You can also check overall software versions, including plugins, from the Windows Start menu.

MicroPeckerX Licensing

Do I need to re-register the license when using the product on another PC?
No. The license information is stored in the MicroPeckerX hardware, so once it is registered, you do not need to register it again on another PC.
Tell me about the application software licenses.
(1) Do they expire?
(2) Are annual maintenance fees required?
(3) What is the “License Activation Date” during registration?

(1) Standard analyzer products come with perpetual licenses. Some products, such as plugins or trial licenses, may use annual or time-limited licenses. Contact Sunny Giken for details.
(2) Perpetual licenses do not require annual maintenance or renewal fees.
(3) The License Activation Date specifies when the license becomes valid. Enter the current date if you want to use it immediately after registration.

Sunny License Manager closes immediately after launching, and the Event Viewer shows a .NET Runtime error (LicenseManager.exe, v4.0.30319, unhandled exception). What should I do?

This can occur if the MicroPeckerX USB driver is not installed. In Windows Settings → Apps, check whether the following two entries appear in Apps & Features:
・Windows Driver Package – Sunny Giken Inc. CDM Driver Package - Bus/D2XX Driver
・Windows Driver Package – Sunny Giken Inc. CDM Driver Package - VCP Driver
If they are missing, install the USB driver and verify that the issue is resolved.
