Purpose of This Document
This document is the user manual for Sunny License Manager (license management tool).
It explains how to register licenses to enable MicroPeckerX product functions and how to operate the license management tool.

License registration for MicroPeckerX products requires a license file.
This manual also explains how to obtain the license file.
How to Use This Document
- Each chapter explains installation, startup, license registration, and error handling, using actual screens and button names.

Terminology
The terms used in this document are described below.
| Term | Description |
|---|---|
| MicroPeckerX | General name for hardware systems equipped with in-vehicle communication interfaces. Used with applications for data acquisition and analysis. |
| License | Usage right that enables MicroPeckerX product functions. Available functions and validity periods are determined by the license registered to the device. |
| License File | Text file that contains information required to enable MicroPeckerX product functions. It can be used only with the device whose serial number was registered at issuance. License registration is performed with Sunny License Manager. |
| Sunny License Manager | Windows application for registering and managing various MicroPeckerX licenses on the device. Used for adding/removing licenses and checking validity periods. |
| License Holder | MicroPeckerX device currently recognized by Sunny License Manager. You can select the target from multiple devices via a pull-down menu. |
| Standard License | License for enabling standard functions provided by the MicroPeckerX device. |
| Extension License | License for enabling additional functions and paid options. |
| Lock Type | Method indicating which device the license is tied to. Currently, only PeckerX (MicroPeckerX format) is supported. |
| Term Type | Type of license validity period: fixed term (Term) or perpetual (Permanent). |
| .snylic file | File extension of a license file. Used when registering a license in Sunny License Manager. |
| Delete Expired License | Function to remove expired licenses from the device. Guidance appears automatically when expired licenses exist during new license registration. |
| Write License | Function to register (write) a license file to the device. |
