Purpose of This Document
This document is the user manual for the MicroPeckerX Config Converter plugin.
By using this product, you can load MicroPecker configuration files and DBC files as MicroPeckerX configuration files.
How to Use This Document
Each chapter explains feature overview and operation methods with actual screens and button names.
If you have questions, please refer to the FAQ or contact us.
Terminology
The terms used in this document are described below.

| CAN | Abbreviation of Controller Area Network. Communication protocol developed for in-vehicle networks. International standard defined by ISO 11898. |
| CAN FD | Abbreviation of CAN with Flexible Data-rate. Extended CAN protocol that enables higher speed and larger data transfer. Standardized as ISO 11898-1:2015. |
| LIN | Abbreviation of Local Interconnect Network. Communication protocol developed to reduce costs of in-vehicle networks. International standard defined by ISO 17987. |
| MicroPeckerX | General name for hardware systems equipped with in-vehicle communication interfaces. Used together with applications for data acquisition and analysis. |
| MicroPecker | General name for hardware systems equipped with in-vehicle communication interfaces. MicroPeckerX is the successor system. |
| DBC file | Abbreviation of Database Container file format developed by Vector Informatik GmbH. ASCII text file containing definitions of messages (frames) and signals in CAN or CAN FD communication. Used to define names, scaling, units, and more, and to standardize data interpretation across tools. |
