Filter display function

The filter display function narrows down frames shown in the Analyze Window.
The following filters are available in the Filtering tab of Ch Log and Analyze views.

  • Error frame filter display (Error Filtering)
  • CAN ID filter display (ID Filtering)
  • Label Filtering

Filtering tab screen explanation

Filtering tab

1Error FilteringSets error frames as filter targets.
ID FilteringSets IDs as filter targets. This cannot be selected until you click the Get ID List button.
Label FilteringSets labels as filter targets. This cannot be selected unless labels are configured in Label Filter Window.
Execute buttonExecutes selected filter display. Only filtered log data is shown in the log display area.
Clear buttonClears filter display.
2ID Filtering SettingConfigures target IDs for ID Filtering.
Get ID List buttonDisplays all IDs present in Analyze Window logs in the ID List area.
Check AllWhen ON, checks all ID checkboxes in the ID List area.
When OFF, unchecks all ID checkboxes in the ID List area.
ID List areaDisplays target IDs for ID Filtering. You can choose include/exclude by ON/OFF of each ID checkbox.
3Label Filtering SettingConfigures target labels for Label Filtering.
Check AllWhen ON, checks all label checkboxes in the Label List area.
When OFF, unchecks all label checkboxes in the Label List area.
Label List areaDisplays labels configured in Label Filter Window.
You can choose include/exclude by ON/OFF of each label checkbox.

Error Filtering setting procedure

Error Filtering shows only error frames from log data.

  1. Select the Error Filtering radio button
  2. Click Execute
  3. Confirm that only error-frame logs are shown

ID Filtering setup procedure

ID Filtering shows only log data of selected CAN IDs.

  1. Click Get ID List to display CAN ID list
    The IDs included in current log data are listed.

  1. Uncheck CAN IDs to exclude
    After clicking Get ID List, all IDs are checked by default. Uncheck IDs you do not want to display.

  1. Click Execute Only relevant logs are displayed.

Label Filtering setup procedure

Label Filtering shows only logs matching target labels configured in Label Filter Window.

  1. Open Analyze Window
    If labels are configured in Label Filter Window, the Label Filtering radio button becomes selectable and configured labels appear in Label Filtering Setting.

  1. Select target labels in Label Filtering Setting
    All labels are selected by default. Uncheck labels that should be excluded.

  1. Click Execute Only logs for matching labels are displayed.
