Save / Load Settings

You can save GUI application settings to files and load settings from saved files.

Procedure to Save Settings

  1. Open Save Config dialog
    Select File -> Save Configuration from menu, or click toolbar Save button button.

  1. Select items to save
    Choose settings to save via checkboxes in Save Config dialog.

  1. Set file name and save
    Click File Name to open file save dialog, specify destination and name, then click Save.

Save Config dialog can save settings of each window and Option dialog.

Procedure to Load Settings

  1. Open Load Config dialog
    Select Load Configuration from menu, or click toolbar Load button button.

  1. Load setting file
    Click file selection button in Load Config dialog and open saved configuration file.

  1. Select items to apply
    Choose setting items to apply via checkboxes.

  2. Execute load
    Click Load to apply selected settings and close dialog.

Behavior when loading settings

When device information exists in file

Loads setting information matching serial number of connected MicroPeckerX.

Serial No. match

Items unchecked in Load Config are not loaded; current GUI settings are retained.

When device information does not exist in file

If connected serial number does not exist in file, confirmation is shown for opening Ch Config Import dialog.

If Yes is selected, Ch Config Import dialog opens and selected settings can be imported.

If file has no matching device info, settings selected in Ch Config Import are applied.

Note: In Ch Config Import dialog, settings are applied per channel.

Load Config dialog can load settings for each window and Option dialog from a file.

Ch Config Import Dialog Screen Description

Channel-specific settings can be applied to channels of connected MicroPeckerX.
