Troubleshooting
If You Encounter the Following Issues
Device not connected. or No Device is shown in windows
If no unit is recognized, or if a connected unit has no license registered, window display changes as follows.

After starting monitoring, frames are being TX/RX but nothing appears in Monitor Window
- Check whether filter display settings are correct in Display Filter Window.
If filter display is enabled, the following mark appears in the corresponding channel tab in Monitor Window.
- Check that the channel currently displayed matches the channel you want to use on MicroPeckerX.
When stopping monitoring, There was no logging data. appears and no log file is saved
- In Trigger Window, if Trigger Mode is
TriggeredorReTriggeredand start trigger is enabled, logging will not start until start trigger conditions are met.
Change Trigger Mode toFree Run, or review start trigger conditions.
Nothing is displayed in Simulation Window
- In Device Window, check the following:
- MicroPeckerX is recognized (if not, click
to refresh recognition). - Checkbox on the left of the channel number for the target MicroPeckerX is ON.
- MicroPeckerX is recognized (if not, click
Need Update is still displayed even after repeated firmware updates
- After firmware update, unplug/replug of MicroPeckerX may be required.

Communication fails
- Check the following:
- LIN cable is connected correctly (see How to Connect Devices).
- If multiple MicroPeckerX units are recognized, units are connected by sync cable (see How to Connect Devices).
- Communication settings such as baud rate are correct (see Communication Settings).
Error frame is not transmitted
- For
ShortMsg.error orFramingerror, set byte position where error occurs within frame data length range.
If byte position is outside data length range, Error column in Simulation Window frame list is grayed out and error is disabled as below.
Schedule switching does not work as expected
- Schedule switching occurs only in either case below:
- One full cycle of frame transmission in current schedule has completed.
- Wake-up is performed after sleep command is accepted.
