Label Function

Using the label function, you can assign labels to logs that match specific conditions and highlight them by changing text/background colors in the following windows.

• Monitor Window
• Each ID Window
• Analyze Window

Label settings are configured in Label Filter Window.

Basic Operation​

The following steps explain how to register labels and highlight logs that match specific conditions.

1. Open Label Filter Window
   Select Label Filter Window from the menu or toolbar.

2. Open Label Filter Setting dialog
   Click . The Label Filter Setting dialog appears.

3. Set label filter conditions
   In Label Filter Setting, configure conditions for logs to label (protocol, channel, direction, etc.).

4. Register the label filter condition
   Click in Label Filter Setting.
   The configured label is registered and shown in Filter List of Label Filter Window.

5. Open Label Setting dialog
   Select the label registered in step 4 from Filter List, then click . Label Setting appears and you can change the selected label style.

6. Set label style
   In Label Setting, configure label style (label name, font color, background color).

7. Save label style
   Click in Label Setting.
   The configured style is saved and reflected in the Label area of Label Filter Window.

8. Enable labels
   Turn ON the checkbox of each label you want to enable in Filter List.

9. Run monitoring
   When monitoring starts, logs matching enabled label conditions in Label Filter Window are labeled in Monitor Window and Each ID Window.
   After monitoring stops, labels are also applied in Analyze Window.

Label Function Enabled​

In this case, logs matching the registered label condition (DIO1_Hi) in Label Filter Window are labeled.

Label Function Disabled​

In this case, the registered label (DIO1_Hi) is disabled, so logs that match the condition are not labeled.

Label Filter Window​

Item		Description	Notes
Filter List (Area 1)	Filter List (Area 2)	Displays registered labels. Enable/disable each label with its checkbox.	Higher rows have higher priority.
	button	Moves the selected label in Filter List one position up. This increases its priority.
	button	Moves the selected label in Filter List one position down. This decreases its priority.
	button	Opens the Filter Setting dialog to register a new label filter condition.
	button	Opens the Filter Setting dialog to create a new label filter condition based on the selected label.	Label style is not copied.
	button	Shows the dialog below. Click Yes to delete the selected label in Filter List.
Label (Area 3)	Label style display area (Area 4)	Displays style of the label selected in Filter List.	Double-clicking this area opens Label Setting, same as clicking .
	button	Opens Label Setting to edit style of the selected label.
Filter Conditions (Area 5)	Filter condition display area (Area 6)	Displays filter conditions of the selected label.	Double-clicking this area opens Filter Setting, same as clicking .
	button	Opens Filter Setting to edit filter conditions of the selected label.
	button	Scrolls filter-condition display to the previous page.
	button	Scrolls filter-condition display to the next page.

Label Setting Dialog​

Item	Description
Sample	Shows a preview of label style based on configured label name, font color, and background color.
Label Name (Area 1)	Sets the label name. Up to 12 characters can be entered.
button	Opens the color-setting dialog to change font color.
button	Opens the color-setting dialog to change background color.
button	Saves the configured label style and closes the dialog.
button	Discards the configured label style and closes the dialog.

Filter Setting Dialog​

Configures label filter conditions (protocol, channel, direction, etc.).

Detailed operation is the same as Trigger Setting dialog (only title is different).
