Feature Overview and Basics
Feature Overview
The monitoring features in MicroPeckerX LIN Analyzer Plus capture and display LIN bus frame data in real time.
| Feature | Description |
|---|---|
| Real-time multi-channel monitoring | Monitor up to four connected channels at once. |
| Log file output | LIN bus frames are automatically saved as CSV text files in the folder you specify on the PC. |
| Display modes | Monitor Window offers Single View for viewing transmit/receive data and status on one channel and Dual View for displaying two channels side by side. Dual View can also show LIN alongside DIO/AD channels. |
| Latest data per ID | Each ID Window shows only the most recent frame for each LIN ID so you can understand the current status at a glance. |
| Filter display | Narrow the display to data that meets specific conditions. |
| Label display | Apply custom labels to data that matches specific conditions and highlight it by changing text or background colors. |
| Trigger control | Automatically start or stop logging when configured trigger conditions are detected. |
These capabilities help you monitor multiple buses efficiently and identify the necessary data immediately.
This chapter uses the following definitions for monitoring and logging.
