Cyclic Transmission

MicroPeckerX InstaGW can perform cyclic transmission. It can also be used together with protocol gateway functions.

Cyclic transmission example

In this example, MicroPeckerX InstaGW transmits CAN ID 100 to Ch1 and CAN ID 200 to Ch2. The GW setting file example is shown below.

Common Settings

Com Sheet

Com sheet for cyclic transmission
  • Configure the baud rates for Arbitration Part and Payload Part for each channel. In this example, Ch1 is CAN FD and Ch2 is CAN.
  • When using Immediate GW, Immediate GW Protocol defines the protocol for each channel. In this example, Ch1 is CAN FD and Ch2 is CAN.

Cyclic Transmission Settings

Periodic Frame Sheet

  • Configure CAN ID, protocol, DL, cycle time, offset, and frame data for cyclic transmission. The minimum cycle resolution is 1 ms.
  • Specify the destination channel for each CAN ID.
  • Up to 32 CAN IDs can be configured in total across Ch1 and Ch2.
