How to Use InstaGW Setting Tool

With MicroPeckerX InstaGW, you can use InstaGW Setting Tool to read and write GW setting information to the MicroPeckerX unit.

This section explains the procedures for writing settings and reading settings.

Procedure to Write a GW Setting File​

1. Connect MicroPeckerX to the PC and Launch InstaGW Setting Tool​

1. Connect the MicroPeckerX unit to a USB port on the PC with the included USB cable.

2. Click the Windows Start button to open the Start menu, then click All to show installed apps.
3. Find InstaGW Setting Tool in the app list, or search by name.

4. Click InstaGW Setting Tool to launch it.

The serial number of the connected MicroPeckerX appears in the Device field.

2. Load GW Setting File​

5. Click the button in the Setting File field to open the file dialog.

6. Select the target GW setting file (Excel format).
7. After selection, the tool automatically loads the file.
8. When loading is complete, Completed is displayed.

9. Click Close.

3. Confirm Settings​

10. The loaded setting file contents are shown in Setting Viewer.

11. Each tab in Setting Viewer corresponds to a sheet in the GW setting file. Verify that all settings are loaded correctly.

4. Write Settings to MicroPeckerX​

12. In the Write/Read Config section, click Write Config to write settings to MicroPeckerX.

13. When writing is complete, Write Config Completed is displayed.
14. Click Close.

5. Exit the Tool​

15. Click the X button in the main window, or select Files -> Exit(X) from the menu bar.

This completes the write procedure.

Procedure to Read GW Settings​

1. Connect MicroPeckerX to the PC and Launch InstaGW Setting Tool​

1. Connect the MicroPeckerX unit to a USB port on the PC with the included USB cable.

2. Click the Windows Start button to open the Start menu, then click All to show installed apps.
3. Find InstaGW Setting Tool in the app list, or search by name.

4. Click InstaGW Setting Tool to launch it.

The serial number of the connected MicroPeckerX appears in the Device field.

2. Read Settings from MicroPeckerX​

5. In the Write/Read Config section, click Read Config to open the file dialog.
6. Choose the save folder and enter a file name.

7. Click Save in the file dialog to read settings from MicroPeckerX.

8. When reading is complete, Completed is displayed.

9. Click Close.
10. If reading succeeds, Read Config Completed is displayed. Click OK.

11. The read settings are shown in Setting Viewer.

This completes the read procedure.
