Uninstalling USB driver
This section explains the procedure for uninstalling the USB driver.
Be sure to uninstall the USB driver as a user with administrator privileges.
There are two types of USB drivers (Windows driver package – Sunny Giken Inc. CDM Driver Package): Bus/D2XX Driver and VCP Driver, and both must be uninstalled.
Uninstallation steps
- Launch "Settings" using one of the following methods.
- Click the Start button on the Windows taskbar to display the Start menu, click the "All" button, and click "Settings" from the list of applications displayed.
- Press the [Windows + I] key.
- Click "Apps" from the menu on the left side of the settings screen.
- Click "Installed apps" from the "Apps" menu list.
- A list of installed applications will be displayed. Find the target USB driver (Windows Driver Package – Sunny Giken Inc. CDM Driver Package) using one of the methods below.
- Search for the target USB driver from the list.
- Enter "Sunny Giken Inc. CDM Driver Package" in the search bar to narrow down your search.
There are two types of applicable USB drivers: Bus/D2XX Driver and VCP Driver.

Click
on either of the USB drivers (Bus/D2XX Driver and VCP Driver) found in step 4, and select "Uninstall" from the menu that appears. -
The following dialog will be displayed, so click the "Uninstall" button.
- The following dialog will be displayed. Click the "Yes" button.
This will uninstall the USB driver.

Repeat steps 5 to 7 for the USB driver that was not selected in step 5.

Make sure that "Windows Driver Package – Sunny Giken Inc. CDM Driver Package" does not appear in the list of installed applications.
